We recently stumbled across a short video review by Pete from @woodworks_23 on Instagram.
We liked it so much, we decided to contact him and learn more about this extremely talented police officer/hobbyist.
Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a 20 year active police officer who was looking for a hobby to pass the time and “keep the wheels turning”.
Why did you start woodworks_23?
I needed a hobby, and once i started I noticed people wanting these types of items. Instead of going on a site like Etsy, they can use someone local and that seems to work better for people.What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I enjoy the finished product and seeing people happy and excited about it as well. don’t share pictures before I give the items, this way there is an element of surprise.
How did you learn about Workman’s Friend Superior Barrier Skin Cream?
It was given to me as a “Gift” from the manager at my local Sherwin Williams store to try out.
What were your thoughts about the product?
It’s great. Using many paints and stains, you tend to have colorful hands at the end of the day. I’m tired of going through boxes of rubber gloves. This is a quick and convenient way to have clean hands.How did the product work for you?
It worked great, it got most of the paint and grime off my hands with a simple damp cloth. Definitely a part of my daily routine now. I make sure to apply it before I start working. Hopefully they come out with a 55 gallon drum of it soon 😂😂
