My husband works treating oil wells. He works outside in windy, cold, damp weather and is exposed to chemicals, dirt and oil while working. Needless to say, his hands take a beating and getting them clean is a chore and products to clean are harsh on his hands as well. Workman's barrier skin cream goes on thick, but once absorbed, it doesn't feel like there is lotion or anything heavy or greasy. The proof is when he washes his hands. The come clean after just washing with some regular soap and water and he rarely uses pumice based cleansers now.
